Fall Transitions Part 3: Leather & Lace

Hey loves, the last and final look in my Fall Transitions series is this leather and lace look I put together. In this look I used my lace dress as a tunic paired with a pair of my leather leggings I plan to get a lot of use out of this Fall. I love this look for it's edgy yet feminine contrast. I have been shopping my closet a lot lately and I am so happy I did, I found some gorgeous gems. I'm usually the one flocking to the stores at each season change. Why?? Just because! I don't NEED anything and this season I'm determined to only pick up key classic pieces that will transition from season to season, year after year. I hope you dolls enjoyed my Fall Transitions series, I would love to know which one you dolls like the best.

Lace Dress as Tunic: H&M

Fall Transitions Part 2: Prim and Put Together!

Hey dolls, Part 2 of this Fall Transitions series features me rocking the little white lace dress as a blouse. I simply paired it with my favorite tulip skirt from Club Monaco and long vest from forever 21, finishing off the look with a belt for a more defined, well put together look. Topped off with a new fav additional to my shoe family, this animal print pump from BCBG. I love how the lace gives this look that classic, ladylike edge. I think this look is perfect grabbing brunch with the girls or a nice look for church. (Hey, I would wear it!) lol
The FIT:
Vest: Forever 21
Skirt: Club Monaco
Pumps: BCBG Generation via Heels.com
Belt: GAP
Lace Dress worn as top: H&M
Accessories: Vintage, Fossil watch, BCBG, H&M
My poor shoes got a lil muddy while prancing around in the grass....FAIL.
Be sure to check back tomorrow loves to see how I remix this piece one more time!

Fall Transitions: White Lace Dress

Hey loves so it's offical. Fall is HERE my friends, READY or NOT! I myself couldn't be happier, I'm ready for the cooler weather and to remix my wardrobe like crazy. I'll be starting with the little white lace dress. Which I 'm sure has been a staple in everyones wardrobe this summer. Some great things about this piece is it's versatility, cool lightweight  and super classic design. This week I will be showing you how to transition this gorgeous piece to the new season without skipping a style beat. The first look I'm going to show you is the cool cowgirl look. This look is perfect for those Saturday morning trips to the farmer's market or even a trip to the pumkin patch. It's a little short so pairing it with some leggings would be ideal if I'll be doing a lot of bending.
Giving you FALL Face my loves!

THE FIT:
White Lace Dress: H&M
Denim Vest: Thrifted
Booties: Steve Madden
Purse: Gifted from my lovely cuzzo!!

Happy FALL my loves, check back tomorrow to see how I remix this wardrobe staple!!

Made In America Festival Recap

Hey Dolls I hope you all enjoyed your Labor Day weekend. Kinda sad that it's the end of the summer but also excited to start dressing for Fall weather. I spent the weekend in Philly for the Made In America concert with my boo-thangs Court Court and Mel Mel. I was completely blown away by all the surprises and amazingness this festival bought to Philly. The weather was slight perfection....not too hot and humid and although we got a bit of rain it bought a great breeze and a very woodstock, rocking out in the rain type moments.  The location had 3 stages and hosted all types of artists from soul-funk folks like Janelle Monae, Jill Scott, Funkagenda to bad ass bands like Passion Pit, Odd Future and wait for it.....Pearl Jam! Of coarse the best part for me was the Jay-Z performance....that man has swag for days. When he bought out the GOOD Music folks I almost died. Kanye's performance was sooooo good dolls. It was my first time seeing Jay and Kanye in concert and I was beyond satisfied, in fact I left the festival Sunday feeling like I owed Jay some money. I mean I paid no where near enough money for this event. I got my money's worth on the first day....the second day Jay was just showing off and I thank him for doing so. Let me just sum up my experience for you in one word. EPIC! Check out the pics from the dopeness that was Day 1......trust it only got better.
