Hey loves, I hope you all have been well and fabulous. I'm coming to you today with a quick recap post. I haven't had a chance to take outfit pics this week unfortunately. After the holidays I had a family emergency that takes priority. My granny has been extremely sick and in the hospital. I have been back and forth to New Jersey spending time with her. She is doing much better than she was but she still has a long road of rehab and treatments ahead. I, like a lot of kiddos out there, was raised by my granny for a good part of my life. I am a total granny's girl and freak out when she gets so much as a paper cut so I have been praying extra, extra hard. She is a fighter and incredibly amazing woman so I know she will pull through in no time. Please enjoy some of my favorite looks from the past few months and feel free to stay a while a browse some of my past looks dolls.

Hey dolls, Happy Monday hope you had a beautiful Thanksgiving holiday with the fam. I had a great time and to think, I almost didn't go home. Every single year I'm reminded how thankful and blessed I truly am. Thanksgiving is over but I am thankful each and every day. Here are just a few things I am currently thankful for.
1. Family, the good, the bad, the ugly......I LOVE them.
2. My Health, it is a privilege not to be taken advantage of for sure.
3. The Dutchess, she is the sweetest pup on the planet...hands down!
4. Online Shopping, my patience for crowds and malls have grown thin with age.
5. Spanx, they are my lifeline, without them I am nothing LOL
6. Friends, not many of us have them, I do and I cherish them.
7. Blogging, its my new drug.....I'm addicted.
8. Having a kind heart, I genuinely care about people and thankful that hasn't changed thru the mess.
9. My life, despite the ups and downs overall its pretty awesome.
10. You! My lovely Diamond Dolls that have and continue to support my blog. You dolls rock and I am truly thankful for you!

Red Sprinkle and Squareroot Group invite you to our inaugural POP-UP BEAUTY LOUNGE EVENT!
Hosted by Nife O. of Skinny Hipster (www.skinnyhipster.com), and fashion/beauty blogger, Naja of NajaDiamond.com (www.najadiamond.com), the POP-UP BEAUTY LOUNGE will transform the venue, La Petite Marmoset (701 Lamont Street, NW), into a live fashion and beauty lounge. The duo aims to create events that not only focus on beauty and fashion, but also highlight the level of diversity both industries seemingly attract. With the holiday season approaching, and as an added bonus, the Pop Up Beauty Lounge will also feature models donning holiday “looks” for those female guests whose schedules are overflowing with company parties and family gatherings.
Also, nosh on cupcakes provided by Red Velvet Cupcakery, while getting holiday hair consultations from celebrity hair stylist, Adrin "Seven" Washington.
The first 50 guests will receive a gift bag featuring products from our partnering sponsors: IMAN Cosmetics, African Pride hair care, Crux NY jewelery, Kiehl's skin care (Georgetown), Plush Beautiq, Seven and Company, and Phyto hair care.
*A portion of proceeds from sales at La Petite Marmoset will go to benefit the Red Sprinkle Fashion Camp, which encourages entrepreneurship in creative careers amongst young women in the DC metropolitan area.

Hey loves I hope you had a good Thanksgiving. I'm still stuffed and snacking on leftovers. Back to business on Monday but for now, keep the calories coming. No your not seeing doubles, I have this same sweater in two different colors. I love a good thing and I love a good thing twice even more. I snagged both of these sweaters from moms closet last year and I loved them both equally. I decided to remix my usual winter weekend uniform with these funky Steve Madden loafers I picked up a while back. I debated on returning them but something inside just wouldn't let that happen. At first I hated them, thought they were ugly and dated and reminded me of old lady curtains.....I even asked my dolls on Instagram if I should keep or ditch them. *KEEP was the verdict* For now I love them and can totally see me pairing it with more yummy things in my wardrobe to come.
Black Jeans: GAP, similar HERE
Shoes: Steve Madden; similar HERE
Bag: Dillard's last year
Shades: RetroCity Sunglasses
Watch: Michael Kors
Be sure to follow me other places loves.....I gets around ;-)

Hey loves, hope you dolls caught the AMA's last night, it was a Goooooood Show! I loved it all from the AMA recaps from past AMA moments, the fashion Do's and Don'ts and the dope performances. Usher kicked off the show with a bang! He showed us all why he is still on top after all these years with his uber cool style and sexy grown man dance moves, he surely made me a fan all over again. Now on the fashion note there most certainly were some Diamond Dolls and some Diamond Don'ts and of course I will share them with you here. In the meantime I would love to know which performances/moments you loved the most, sound off below! Mine would have to be the Carrie Underwood performance and the dude from Gangham Style and Hammer at the end.....They kill'd it!

Kelly looked just lovely tonight. I love that she seems to be filling out a bit more and getting some lovely curves on her. She looked absolutely beautiful tonight. Diamond Doll for sure!
Nicki Minaj looks beautiful in this lime green Monique Lhuillier strapless number. She clearly toned it down from her usual shinanigans but I love whoever convenced her to take off those awful captain hats.....they were starting to get annoying. She is definetly a Diamond Doll in this look, 2 thumbs up!
It seemed to be a night of ill fitting saggy dresses as well. These dresses desperately needed a visit by a tailor before they made their appearance on the red carpet. I mean you want the BEST possible coverage when wearing a dress like this so any excess fabric will most certainly be unflattering.
Jordan Sparks gets a sad face for this look, not cute boo :-( The pattern of the dress is just FUGLY sorry, Diamond DON'T!
Chris Breezy was on his cool kid swag tonight, I loved his red carpet look. He was perfectly fresh to death in his black and white fit for the night.
Will.I.Am. SMH. The things you do for attention boo. I wasn't feelin it, it was like Kanye meets Two Chains, your trying too hard love. Will has a very eclectic style I can usually appreciate but I felt like this look has been done fifty times already.
Short glitter cocktail dresses were a hit tonight and Jennifer Goodwin and her damn pixie cut were simply perfect! DIAMOND DOLL APPROVED!
Jenny McCarthy was servin it in this black and gold sequin number. I was feeling very Saturday Night Fever when I seen her. Her body is gorgeous and with the hair and accessories she stood out to me in a very chic and cool way.

Carrie Underwood always hits a home run in my book and tonight was no exception in this gorgeous purple lace beaded gown. Face beat to the God's and perfect muted accessories really let this dress take center stage where it belongs.

Hey loves, hope you had a fabulous weekend! I had a great weekend as I had the pleasure of being a guest model blogger for DewDropDCs Glitter Glam Swap & Shop event on Saturday. I seriously had the best time modeling pieces people bought in to swap and from the local vendors who had some GREAT pieces!! The event was complete with Red Bull, cupcakes and gorgeous pieces from local stores and designers. I got to style my own look for Glitter Glam event, I went overload with the glitz and the glam! I found a gorgeous sequined cocktail dress, beautiful vintage clutch and glitter glam neck candy from Rossi Modo boutique. I loved this look so much I went home with this cocktail number, I know I will be recycling it many times this holiday season.
The lovely Meagan from District Sparkle being my mirror and applying my lipliner before our catwalk! She is totally awesome and had such a great time with her and Waverly of Pich & Roor!! Can't wait to meet up with these ladies again in the near future!!
Swap shoppers going thru the goodies!
So great meeting Rossi Modo Boutique owner at the event, she was super nice and her makeup was beautiful!! Check out her gorgeous pieces HERE dolls
Yummy treats were also available for swappers, just look at that gorgeous cake!
