NYFW Day 1 Recap and Style Diary

Hey loves, hope you all are amazing! I am coming to you today with my Day 1 recap of New York Fashion Week. Fashion Week is a time for networking, street style and to get a sneak peek of what's to come from your favorite designers. For my Day 1 on Saturday, I started the day early arriving from DC then heading straight to support the Curvy Girl blogger closet sale sponsored by Simply Bee. I ran into a plus size blogger fav of mine Alissa from
Stylish Curves and met another fav, Chasity from Garner Style. I then headed to lunch with my editor boo and friend Ronald were we dined on Lobster rolls and blueberry gamlets at Ed's Lobster Bar. It was a great time and lots of laughs and fun. We did a bit of shopping and picture taking in SOHO before hitting up the RewardStyle Blogger party at the empire hotel. Wrapped up at Lincoln Center for people watching and connecting to online friends and blogger boos.

Oh but the day didn't stop there we headed home to shower and get cute before ending the night in Harlem having way too much fun and drinking way too much tequila. I love coming into the city but the hustle and pace leaves me drained and beat. All apart of the magic so I'm not complaining. More to come on my NY trip, Day 2 was even better.
The heat and humidity were treacherous on this day so please excuse my natural hair for being completely uncooperative and unruly.
The RewardStyle rooftop party was so much fun and I got to connect with some great blogger old and new.

Ran into Monroe from www.FashionSteeleNY.com looking FAB!
Just a few of my picks from the BlueFly wall. Absoluely loving the rich mahogony, ladylike YSL satchel and gorgeous lux Celine crossbody bag.
What I Wore:
Top, Skirt, Necklace, Shades: J.Crew
Shoes: BCBGeneration (old) similar HERE
Bag: Zara
Watch: Fossil
Bracelet: Twisted Silver
