HOW TO: DIY Makeup Remover Wipes

Hey loves, today I wanted to share with you a quick, simple, inexpensive, DIY makeup remover recipe. So I don't know about you but as much as I play in makeup I go through makeup wipes like crazy. Especially during my Halloween tutorials they went far too fast. I came across a recipe for homemade baby wipes and immediately thought they would be perfect for makeup wipes and wah-lah I found a recipe. So here I am sharing it with you dolls. It is super simple and you might even have all these ingredients available in your home right now!

First thing first....YOU WILL NEED:
 DIY MAKEUP REMOVER WIPES

  • 1 roll of heavy duty paper towels cut in thirds
  • No TEARS baby shampoo, I used lavender for the smell
  • Oil of choice, Coconut, jojoba, olive oil are all fine
  • 1 bottle of distilled or filtered water
For my roll of paper towels I mixed 1 cup of water, 4 tablespoons of baby shampoo and 2 teaspoons of coconut oil. Mix that together until blended. Place paper towels in air tight container and pour mixture directly on the paper towels and let sit for 10 mins to soak all the way through. Make sure the entire roll is coated. Last step is to remove the cardboard roll and pull the wipes from the middle one by one. Easy peezy and your face and pockets will thank you!

I plan on using these for one week straight and see how I like them compared to my everyday wipes. If they work how I suspect they will, no more store bought wipes for me!!

Hope you dolls enjoy this post and if you would like more DIY beauty tips and recipes let me know. I have the perfect DIY lip scrub you dolls will love to combat those winter lips coming soon!
