Big Hair, Fuzzy Hat: Winter Pastels

The Fit:
Coat: Old Navy, similar HERE, different color HERE
Moto Jacket: Forever 21 (old) similar HERE
Pants/Blouse: J.Crew (old), similar pants HERE
Hat:Target
Heels: Shoedazzle
Bag: Zara (old)
New week, new day, new hair!! Today I'm rocking the curly look and I must say, I kind of love it, no lie. It's easy to manage, and a fun way to change up my look. Paired with this big, fuzzy hat from Target and I'm sold! My hat winter collection is pretty extensive these days. I didn't realize how much I love fuzzy, pom pom hats until I pulled out all my winter items. It's a problem ya'll.

On to this outfit, I kept it light with pastels and grounded by neutrals. Yes, I consider leopard a neutral, it goes with everything! I spotted this coat on my blogger boo Alissa from Stylish Curves and had to have it. It is so cozy and flattering and although it's a little big on me , it is perfect for layering in this look.

Just 3 more days until Christmas dolls, hope your ready and have a GREAT one!!

Day to Night Holiday Makeup- Daytime Gorge

Hey loves, today I'm bringing you a makeup tutorial! Please let me know if you want to see more of these on the blog, I enjoyed creating this step by step tutorial for a basic Holiday eye that is super easy to transition from Day to Night and pairs well with a variety of lippies from red to deep burgundy or nude. I do more makeup tutorials on my YouTube channel HERE so make sure your subscribed so you don't miss any.
Step 1: Apply a primer. This will help your shadow last all day and prevent creasing. This is a MUST step in my book. I like the E.L.F eye primer for just 1 buck!

Step 2: With a flat shader brush, apply your lid color. I used a gold color from the Urban Decay Naked Palette called Half Baked. It is festive and goes well with many lip colors.

Step 3: Blend, Blend, Blend. We don't want any harsh lines so with your favorite transition color blend that into your crease. I'm using Buck from the Naked palette with a blending brush.
Step 4: Line your lid for a crisp finish, I love the Infallible felt pencil for its sharp, precise tip.

Step 5: Wing it out!

Step 6: Add Mascara and done. A super simple day time look to wear with any holiday look.
The finished look will look something like this dolls! Paired with my favorite Nude lip for daytime gorge!

All About my Red Hair

So you might have noticed something slightly different lately. For those that have been asking about my new red do, here are all the deets!

I had the amazing opportunity to work with Dark & Lovely during my Family Dollar trip and change up my look. I decided to go BOLD and rock Vivacious Red from the Dark & Lovely Fade Resistant line. This color can be found at your local Family Dollar for around 5 dollars!

First, let me say that I did have to BLEACH this hair first. I initially made a full wig with lace closure and bleached the unit. If I had to do it over again I would recommend you bleach the bundles first starting from the bottom working your way up.

Once the hair was blond I applied about 3 boxes of the Vivacious Red to the hair and let it sit for about 45 mins. I am rocking 3 bundles and a closure so that is how much I needed but it will vary for your own head.

Overall, I really like the way it turned out. With the bleaching I surely learned a lot during the process but with practice I will be a pro in no time.

To see how I like it, check out my review HERE!

The BEST Wrap Skirt

The FIT:
Denim Top: J.Crew, similar HERE
Skirt: Get it HERE
Heels: Saks Off Fifth, similar HERE
Coat: H&M, love THIS one
Bag: Zara
Changing up my style and trying something new today. I picked up this gorgeous wrap African wax print skirt a few weeks back from the uber talented Semirah. You can wear this skirt as a dress or skirt and tied in many many ways, even a top. I didn't do as good of a job as the best wrap stylist in all the land, Ami. When I say I LOVE this skirt I mean it. So much so I got the long maxi version in another print. I love the vibrant color and gorgeous pattern as well as how comfortable I can be and still keep it stylish!
