Gone with the Wind Fabulous

The FIT:
Dress: BCBG (old, similar HERE) | Shoes: JustFab | Jacket: Zara, Similar | Hat: Forever 21, Similar

So what is a girl to do when she stumbles upon the perfect old train station in her neighborhood.....throw on a full length gown, 5 inch pumps and go take pictures DUH!! Pray not to get hit by the train and be Gone With the Wind Fabulous!!

Pulled out this oldie but goodie from the archives paired with a leather jacket, floppy hat and my new Just Fab heels. I feel this look is super girly, yet edgy with a touch of boho. I could totally rock this look for a Coachella event!

P.S. How are you dolls enjoying the new blog design? Still working out some kinks but I wanted to switch it up a bit....it was time! Let me know what you think down below!

XOXO

Budget Beauty Boot Camp: Spring Spa Night In

Hey Dolls and Happy Spring!!

Everyone loves a good spa moment but it can put a dent in our pockets for sure. I'm all about saving a coin or two without sacrificing fabulosity. In this post I’m going to show you how to get the spa experience at home for less than $25 bucks using products from your local Family Dollar! Super convenient and affordable and will leave you feeling refreshed, renewed and ready for Spring!

Start off by thawing off that Winter chill in a nice warm bath. I love to use this lavender epsom bath salt solution in my water to calm aching muscles or just to give a relaxing fragrance.
To really create the mood and set the zen-like tone I like to light this bath set and turn the lights down low to relax. I found this set at my local family dollar for just 5 bucks. This Mulberry scented set comes complete with an oil burner, reed diffusers and incents...OH MY! How absolutely perfect for my spa retreat at home.

To get that old thang back….you know.... smooth, vibrant, healthy skin once again; Winter can leave your skin a bit parched. I reach for my homemade body scrub, great for body and lips. I found all these ingredients at Family Dollar and simply mixed them together to get the consistency I liked.
I like to package them in these little clear containers and store them in the fridge and use it about once a week.

This container held about 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of honey, and about 2 teaspoons of Vitamin E until you have a fully coated mixture. Whip up this easy and affordable DIY body scrub and you can thank me later for your perfectly polished and glowing skin!

Nothing like a fresh coat of polish to change up your look, I’m loving this gel polish new from LA Colors in this minty spring shade. Easy to apply brush, long lasting color with a variety of shades to choose from and did I mention they’re only 2 bucks a piece?!
Change the colors as often as you like, I like to use these handy remover wipes, works great for only a dollar and smells like peaches.

Finally, I like to finish up my spa night with layers of this Cocoa Butter Vaseline on my feet with a pair of cozy socks. After soaking in my Epsom salt bath and scrubbing the dead skin away with my sugar scrub this Vaseline leaves my feet ‘pedicure’ soft the next morning.

So there you go, a fabulous night IN for less than $25 bucks! You can't beat that and you surely deserve it which is why I'm partnering with Family Dollar and giving away 2 $25 dollar gift cards! So 2 lucky Diamond Dolls will win a $25 gift to go and recreate your own spa night IN with Family Dollar. Simply SHARE this post and follow Naja Diamond and Family Dollar on Facebook and Instagram!

Thank you so much to Family Dollar for partnering with this post, as always all opinions are my own.
