The Scuba Dress

The Fit:
Dress: Gwynnie Bee | Necklace: J.Crew Factory | Shoes: Payless, old (similar HERE), high end version HERE | Clutch: gifted

Gwynnie Bee sure has a thing for pretty little dresses on their site. I scored this number from them recently and seriously am looking for more places to wear it to. I recently wore this floral A-line scuba number to a rooftop pool party here in DC. Although, not the lightest material for hot sticky DC nights, I sure looked FAB!! I paired it with a statement necklace and my silver platform shoes from Payless (yes, you read that right, PAYLESS! lol, Jealous??). The silver paired perfectly with my little clutch keeping the look girly and fun.

Anyone want to invite me to their wedding, cocktail party or garden party this summer?? If so, I'm available and will most likely show up in this prettly little number!

Nature Walk

 The Fit:
Dress: Thrifted | Shoes: Target | Scarf: J.Crew | Bracelet: Twisted Silver c/o | Watch: Michael Kors | Hat: Target-Men's Department (similar HERE) | Bag: Coach (similar HERE)

This has been my uniform as of late. This comfy denim dress, these comfy jeweled sandals and this cross body bag and Panama hat to top it off.  Dealing with one piece of clothing is so much easier than a full outfit and let's be honest....who really has time for pants these days! It's hot out here and this look keeps me cool while keeping my COOL. Lol, that was so corny it was almost to good NOT to say. smh Anyway loves what is your current Go-To Summer look currently. For me it will be no fuss dresses for sure and cool assesorries to punch up the look.

Hope your summer is off to a great start, be sure to make it great dolls!

Brunch Behavior

Blair!!

 Hey dolls,

Coming to you today with a fun post from this weekend. I went to brunch on Sunday to celebrate a friends birthday in DC and I'm surely ready to make it a regular affair.

Brunch in DC is a way of life and with the right group of people it's a time full of priceless memories. We ate at Lauriol Plaza in Adams Morgan which is Tex-Mex, Spanish goodness! I had the Shrimp and crab enchiladas and they were amazing! Oh and the drinks.....two thumbs up, seriously their frozen margaritas are all that and a bag of tortillas. Yummy and strong, just how I like em.

My girl Tish was in town from Georgia and she had a ball. Great food, great friends and conversation and tons of laughs and jokes makes for a pretty dope Sunday/Brunch Day! Hope your having an awesome week so far dolls and thanks for stopping by!

The Flamingo Dress

The Fit:
Dress: Gwynnie Bee | Shoes: JustFab | Necklace: Forever 21 | Bracelets: Twisted Silver | Bag: Zara

I mean what is cuter than this flamingo day dress. I'm not a HUGE fan of novelty prints on clothes but when I seen this dress I just fell in love! Not only is the print fabulous but the fit is amazing as well. I found that it is the perfect mix of modesty with the length and grown and sexy with the deep V.

Gwynnie Bee, a plus size wardrobe rental company, was kind enough to send me a few pieces to wear and test out. I must say so far so great! Go to the site and check it out. Basically how it works is you pick a plan and they send you the pieces of your choosing accordingly to your plan. You recieve your pieces, wear them, wash them and return them to do it all over again. You are charged a flat rate for the month and can return and exchange as often as you like. Very similar to Rent the Runway in my opinion. They carry high and low end brands and surely has something for everyone.

Dressing my curvier frame is super simple with this service. I don't plan on staying this size long so I haven't exactly been motivated to shop for bigger pieces. This way I can wear the clothes and return them without commitment. Not to mention as a blogger who rarely wears anything twice the same exact way it's perfect to keep the variety in my wardrobe! Just like that, I'm SOLD!

Sign up HERE to get the first month free. If you sign up be sure to come back to let me know how you like it. Thanks so much for stopping by dolls, as always I appreciate your continued support!

The Blue Trench

The FIT:
Trench: NY&Co (old, similar HERE) // Blouse: BCBG// Skirt: Zara, (cheaper version HERE) // Heels: JustFAB // Collar: Forever 21

We all have that one piece in our wardrobes we love to pieces, oldie but goodie and still works wonders with your wardrobe. For me this NY&Co blue trench is that piece for me. I've had it for YEARS and still love it just as much. Perfect for adding a punchy cover during cooler days/nights and adding just the right amount of style to any look.

I kept the rest of this look simple and chic with a white button up, black skirt and jeweled collar. It almost looks very waiter chic, LOL. Anyway doll, I have a great week of content planned for you so see you back here tomorrow!
