Beauty Trend: Vampy Lips

Hey loves, today I'm coming to you with a beauty post. I am absolutely LOVING vampy lips this season and have been fearlessly rocking the crap out of them. I just wanted to share with you my FAV vampy lippies and my tips on rockin a flawless lip.

My tips to pulling off this sexy and fierce look are as follows:

1. Pick a shade that complements your skin tone, you don't want to go too dark and end up looking like you have mud on your lips. That's not cute! YOu may have to try out a few but hopefully I can point you in right direction with my picks.

2. Use a lip liner. I find a lipliner prevents this dark lip from bleeding and gives you a sharper, crisper look.

3. Use Concealer. Take your time when working with a darker color because it's harder to wipe off if you make a mistake. In the event you do "color outside the lines", no worries, just whip out your handy concealer and brush and clean up the edges. Be sure to blend out the concealer you don't want it to be obvious.

4. Pucker Up. Blot off excess product with a papertowl or use the ago old trick of sticking your finger in your mouth, close your lips and make the fish face. (Don't look at me like that, just do it! lol) Now take a look at all the product on your finger. See......all that could have been on your teeth. How embarrassing!

Don't be afraid to pair a bold lip with a bold eye.

Colored Coats: Wintertime Style

It has arrived dolls, I'm talking about Friday and boy am I glad. I have been in training for work for the last 2 weeks and have been off my routine every since. Between studying, terrible traffic and a crappy diet I am in desperate need of this weekend to decompress and realign. I will be spending the weekend meal prepping, working out and sleeping. I'm sure I'll squeeze in some time to take blog pics and enjoying some HU homecoming festivites.

Anywho, can we please chat about this gorgeous fuschia wool coat I "acquired" from my moms closet. I found this gem among a dozen other coats (I went home with) that she was NOT wearing anymore and probably never would. It was my duty to give it a good home. Right?? I just LOVE that it's OVERSIZED, super BRIGHT and oh so CHIC.
The FIT:
Blouse: J.Crew
Pants: LOFT
Wool Coat: Gifted from Mommy :-D

Can you dolls please get into my ombre nails I'm lovin. I tried it on my ring finger cause I wasn't sure how I was going to like the transition but I just get a kick out of watching the colors change throughout the day.

HUGE thank you to Ricco for these gorgeous photos! I am in love with them and look forward to working with you and your team in the future. If you dolls are in the DMV area and in need of a photographer be sure to hit him up at twentyone0six.inc@gmail.com or on Instagram @twentyone0six.

Rainbows Dancing on my Feet

Hey dolls, Happy Monday! Coming to you today with a new favorite item in my wardrobe as of late. This absolutely gorge denim sleeveless vest with just the right amount of bedazzlement. It seriously looks like someone took a glue gun and a some dazzle beans and went to work. Nonetheless, it's the perfect amount of sparkle and funk for me. I picked up this beauty from Forever 21 a few months ago on the sale rack and was over joyed. I literally think I skipped to the register, lol, don't judge me. Anyway, this piece is perfect for layering and can be work a ton of different ways. Today I paired it with stripes and purple. When I put it together it just worked and I instantly loved this look. Oh and check out these iridescent wedges from my new obsession Shoedazzle.com. I mean seriously.....that site is sooooo good. The wedges just sparkle and look like rainbows dancing on my feet. I LOVE them!

Top: Forever 21
Jeweled Denim Vest: Forever 21
Pants: LOFT
Wedges: Shoedazzle
Necklace: Zara

Breaking the Rules...

Hey dolls, as I put this look together I realized I had broken a few fashion rules. Silly rules such as Navy and Black don't go together and no white shoes after labor day. Good thing I don't give a CRAP about rules when it comes to fashion! My one and only rule in fashion is wear what make you look good and makes you feel amazing. Period.
The FIT:
Crop Top/Earrings: ASOS
Sleeveless Vest/Necklace: Forever 21
Skirt: Charlotte Russe
Heels: Shoedazzle
Bag: Zara
Headscarf: Old scarf tied in turban, don't remember
Watch: Fossil

Fall-ing into place....

Hey guys, long time no post! I know, I know I have said that far too many times. These past few weeks have been busy busy. I moved....yes, AGAIN! Basically, I'll make a long story short. I wasn't happy in Panama City Beach so I left. There you go, short and sweet. I'm now back in the DMV and as happy as ever. Things are certainly falling into place nicely.

Being in a good place emotionally is essential to me when it comes to blogging. My blog is something I truly love and am passionate for. It's not something I do for the fame, money or free stuff (HAHA, I wish!) but rather someplace to express my creative side. Since being back in the area I want to be and around the people that make me happy my creative juices have been a flowin yall! I have been especially obsessed with the plaid trend lately and scored some major gems on my latest thrifting trip. I will be featuring those pieces soon so stay tuned loves.

This look is perfect for this crisp fall weather. Still warm enough to show a bit of skin yet cool enough to layer a bit.
The FIT:
Plaid button up: Zara, similar HERE
Crop Top: ASOS
Bodycon skirt: Forever 21
Shearling coat: Target (old) last seen HERE, in my dreams I would own this one HERE
Studded Boots: JustFab, cute pair HERE

Happy to be back dolls I've missed you so!!
