White Tones

Something so fresh and grown about white and grey. Clean lines and simplicity is what I'm all about these days. I just can't be bothered with too much lately, we'll see how long that lasts. With the summer in full effect after this past weekend I will be getting back to color soon enough. In this look I wanted something pretty, simple and comfy. This look was actually all of those things. I especially love these heels from Shoedazzle, the heel height is perfect for longwear and adds a pop of freshness and serious style to any outfit.

Short and Sweet

Hey loves, this post is super late this week but work has been kicking my butt. I have been itching to wear my new blouse for weeks now and finally did today with these powder pink linen short shorts. I have been on the hunt for a blue striped blouse since I posted my Summertime Lust List in this post HERE. I caught this gorge silk Equipment blouse on sale and couldn't resist. Not gonna lie, silk is one of THE most uncomfortable fabrics to wear in the heat and it was hot, hot, hot after the rain in these pics. I can't stand to sweat in Silk....just gross. This beauty may not be getting a lot of wear time this Summer after todays test run but this Fall watch out!

Summertime Mini: White Vest, Strappy Heels and Mini Skirts

Hi loves, Happy Monday, hope you had a fantastic weekend. We had a beautiful weekend and although my allergies kicked my butt I did get out to enjoy it. I'm coming to you today with an outfit of the day video styling my new favorite shoes to my collection. This sexy black strappy pair from Shoedazzle has me obsessed! I paired it with my new white sleeveless vest, a striped peplum top and tight black skirt. I'm also rocking my natural tresses in this faux mohawk style. My mom braided me up and I threw some two strandd twists in the top, then roller set the twist and done. I still need to play with my natural hair to get down a good routine but it worked and I kept it in for about 2 days, which is 2 days longer than most of my other natural hair styles. lol

Vest/Skirt: Forever 21
Heels/Earrings: Shoedazzle

All the way on Chill

Hope you loves had a great week. It's Friday and with flooding in my area and a cold currently kicking my butt, looks like my weekend will be less than desirable. We shall see, anything can happen. However, If I do get out it will be wearing something like this! I have been living in these jeans since I revived them with a pair of scissors, a few holes and a couple trips in the washer. I picked up these oversized Levi's at my local thrift store for about 5 bucks and unleashed my DIY Diva on them! I am really happy with the results but might add some more distressing on the upper thighs and pockets. Yup, I'm pretty sure I will! I paired them with my new shoedazzle beauties I got in the mail earlier that day, a thrifted camo hooded t-shirt I found in my mom's luggage (she got it for a dollar at her local thrift store!). Topped off with gold jewelry and a leopard scarf I use to hold my edges down but thought it worked last minute. I actually wore this look to a friends backyard BBQ and I must say the heels were not the best idea.....but I was cute thou!! I totally would have rocked this look with a casual pair of Birkenstocks if I were to do it over. I must say, I'm loving that Birkenstock trend! No shame.
