All Black Everything

Hey dolls, Happy Friday! I got Seneglase Twists! I've had them for a while now but this is the first time I'm debuting them on the blog. I wanted a break from my extensions for a while and I have been lusting over these braids for a while so I went ahead and got them. I love that they are low maintenance and I can style them in different ways if I choose.

I realize I haven't posted an outfit of the day in a while, it's been mostly makeup related posts. I will do better I promise. I put together this look for Style me Friday over at The Fashionista Next Door. I was super late with posting it but nonetheless here it is, my All Black Everything Look. I've been super busy with work studying for my certification. It's a pretty huge deal in my field so I have been extra stressed and black has been my mood. Once I pass this certification I will have my life back and be back on a regular posting schedule. I have some really excited things in store for the blog and my YouTube channel so stay tuned dolls.

Makeup Moment feat. Maybelline Color Elixir Lipgloss

Hey loves, I have been MIA lately but I promise I have a good reason. More about that later, for now, can we please talk about these gorgeous lippies from Maybelline. I will be bringing you dolls more makeup related posts, they will be our lil moments to chat all things makeup.
Thank you to the Maybelline and Refinery 29 team for sending me the new Maybelline Color Elixir by Color Sensational glosses in Raspberry Rhapsody, Fuchsia Flourish, and Signature Scarlet. I was super excited about the new line because I genuinely LOVE Maybelline products so I knew this product would be amazing. What I didn't know is it would be this AMAZING! I am totally a lipstick gal through and through, I like gloss as a topper or as something quick on the go. This gloss is so highly pigmented I didn't even need to pair with a lippie.
Signature Scarlet was my fav and can you tell why in the photos, I mean seriously. This product is extremely pigmented with high shine and even moisturizing. This is the look all by itself and it lasts on my lips for a long time, I was pleasantly surprised.
Red was surely my favorite but the pink is very pretty on it's own worn with a bold eye and Raspberry Rhapsody is a beautiful berry color  and is amazing paired with my RiRi boy from Mac. Be sure to pick up some of these next time your out at your local drugstore dolls.

This post is sponsored by Refinery29, in partnership with Maybelline. Maybelline kindly provided me with product samples, and I was compensated for the time it took to prepare this post, and share my unique perspective and genuine thoughts about Maybelline Color Elixir.

Olivia Pope Inspired Makeup + South Central OOTD

Morning dolls, hope you had a FAB weekend. I kept it low key and relaxed, I didn't even take outfit pics but I will have some FAB looks coming soon.  I have a ton of pieces I can't wait to style so stay tuned for that. In the mean time check out my latest makeup tutorial on YouTube. I am totally in LOVE with the show Scandal and the perfectly chic, stylish and scandalicious Ms. Olivia Pope. I am faithful with tuning in every Thursday to see her latest indiscretions and impeccable fashion choices. She keeps her makeup on the simple side so this has quickly become my go-to daily look inspired by Olivia. It's my go to look even when paired with my thugged out South Central inspired look. This look seriously happened on accident. I threw this look together as leftovers from a previous look I was shooting that day and this is what I came up with. I liked it. lol

Hope you dolls enjoy it and if you would like me to do more makeup tutorials be sure to leave a comment below and subscribe to my YouTube channel HERE!

I call this my South Central look dolls. I wore this to run some errands and grab a bite to eat. Thought I'd throw in these pics since they were all taken the same day.
